Dr. Christopher Barry serves as the Internal Project Evaluator. He is an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg Campus) and has coordinated and analyzed the current Project WetKids database since 2006. He has a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Alabama with a concentration in child and adolescent issues. He has recently co-authored a textbook on assessment in children. His assessment expertise will assist in the design of assessment strategies and in the interpretation of outcomes, as well as variables that seem to mediate or moderate outcomes of this project. Dr. Barry will coordinate the data collection from teacher and student participants as well as from a control group of students and teachers from Hattiesburg, MS. The control group will consist of public middle school students and their teachers. Dr. Barry will work with graduate research assistants on creating databases from the survey information collected and will be responsible for conducting all statistical analyses.
