Dr. David Reider leads the External Project Evaluation. He is the principal partner of Education Design, INC, a Boston-based educational services firm, currently leads evaluation efforts for four other National Science Foundation education projects. For over ten years, he has designed and directed program evaluations in formal and informal learning domains in the sciences, technology learning, and arts education. He travels to project sites three times per project year (summer, fall, spring) to collect data through interviews and observations and conducts regular phone conferences with the Principal Investigators and partners.
